Seems kinda like FB for work. We use it where I work and to be honest.. it's not great. Engagement is low among some areas so they try drive engagement to it by having competitions on it. I don't think it works.
I think it would work for small teams though. People are probably more likely to post if it is just to their immediate team.
Really appreciate this. I totally agree - these tools aren't for every organization. Culture is what you put into it. I've been on teams that "prefer email over Slack"... (I know).. Another strong point you made is regarding how small teams are the key to early growth. Thanks!
