Ask HN: What are you excited to learn about as a software engineer?

What excites you to learn as a software engineer? Is it a new productivity tool? Is it a new language? Is it a new method for testing? Is it something else?

For me as a new software engineer, I really enjoy learning about things related to cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, etc). The AWS CDK is what I've enjoyed learning about/getting comfortable with the most.
