We're Abhishek and Rahul, building FinHawk, an automated crypto trading assistant. I had been a semi pro equity trader for several years and with no academic background in Finance, had to learn everything I know about trading and investing myself. Another major problem for me had been that it was difficult to discover and track trading opportunities, owing to the limited time I could take out daily after my regular job.
I spoke to other traders in my peer group who had been facing similar problems, who also connected me to other traders in their network including folks who trade crypto. Based on discussion with close to 200 traders we built this prototype (https://finhawk.app) consisting of the most commonly requested features.
Currently it is integrated with four exchanges - Coinbase Pro, Binance, CoinDCX and Unocoin, supports text commands like, "Buy 0.1 eth when rsi goes above 30" as well as a few other useful functions for traders. We're iterating based on feedback from our active users and would love for everyone at HN to contribute through their feedback as well.
In the long run the assistant will guide the trader through creating the strategy using best practices, add voice support and automate as much of trading workflows as technically feasible.
