Ask HN: Do you know anyone who has used MDN's Learn Web Development?

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Learn. I'm curious how good of a resource this may be for someone to go from "nothing" to "hire-able". I tend to mentor people who are interested in making a career switch into software development and inevitably we discuss "boot camps", and I want to know of more high-quality, free/cheap resources for people.
