Facebook restricts the availability of news on its platform in Australia (facebook.com)

I think it counts as a dupe by HN's standard. The issue isn't whether the URLs are identical, it's whether the story is substantially the same, because that's what determines whether the threads are repeating each other. In this case that's clearly so.
