Cabinet Magazine is amazing. It's got topics about literally anything with one common theme - well researched, cited and in-depth. I've been a subscriber for many years and have acquired most of the old issues through eBay.
If you want to take a break from the noise of the internet, brew some tea and sit back for a couple of hours and read something deeply interesting, Cabinet Magazine is a gem in the otherwise mud of the internet. Physical magazines have special features such as postcards and cutouts, I highly recommend subscribing.
> Cabinet is my kind of magazine; ferociously intelligent, ridiculously funny, absurdly innovative, rapaciously curious. Cabinet’s mission is to breathe life back into non-academic intellectual life. Compared to it, every other magazine is a walking zombie.

It's New York's finest.
>In 2020, Cabinet will publish three print issues (numbers 66, 67, and 68) before moving to an entirely digital format.
