Ask HN: Priced, Convertible Note, SAFE. What funding type did you choose?

Seeking advice on pre/seed funding. Raising $900k in the Consumer social space.

Here is the problem. I am still trying to decide on the preferred funding type. Broadly there is priced equity, convertible note, and SAFE.

SAFE is most simple & least upfront cost, but it seems it can hurt your equity if you raise again with another SAFE or convertible note and not a priced equity round.

Question for HN If you have raised (or anyone with good insights), what funding type did you pick, why did you pick it?

Did investors influence the decision. What worked out about it and what didn’t?
