Ask HN: How do I find an apprenticeship at a startup/internet business?

Hello Hacker News! I saw earlier today there was a post on finding remote jobs... so I'm posting a similar follow-up: how do I find a remote apprenticeship at a startup/internet business?

My background: - fresh graduate (Bachelors in Computer Sci- Highest Distinction) - did mostly ML stuff in college, picking up JS/Rails right now because I realised I can't build for nuts - have multiple indie projects like podcast, newsletter etc

Why apprenticeship: - I realised I'm not a good operator (ref Andrew Wilkinson), so I want to polish my skills under someone who has done it before - I will be a future founder, so it'll be relevant to learn what it is like to build a business

Why remote: I'm from Singapore, but I don't want to limit myself to my own geographic region. Open to moving to another country, but due to the current pandemic I'm much more inclined to stay in SG first
