Ask HN: Are you being micromanaged? How do you feel about it?

My Slack profile literally says "Hodor." under what I do. I nod and prostrate in meetings, then go back to doing my job the best way I know how. Being treated like a slab of economic meat is part and parcel of living in a capitalist country. It pays well but I'd prefer not to take it to heart. I have a split personality at work and I sleep well at night.

No. It's great. I'm in a tiny company, we're all pretty senior and can solve our own problems.

I have been before. It's obviously awful.

Is this happening to you? Are you trying to find ways to deal with a micromanager above you? etc.
