Ask HN: How can I teach my parents about phishing?

I have explained security and phishing to them before but it's easy to let it go in one ear and out the other. I had the idea to try phishing them just to _show_ them how easy it can be to fall prey to this kind of stuff but after a bit of research it seems more difficult that I thought it would be (which is a good sign overall). How would you teach your parents about phishing? _Is_ there a relatively straight forward way for me to phish them for educational purposes or show them how easy it can be to fall victim?
