After reading about it, I'm a little floored that Tatis Sr. was on board. Like he didn't have the most decorated career ever, but he probably made from high 7 to low 8 digits. Unless his relationship with his son is absolutely shot, which it apparently isn't considering he was able to sit in on conversations about this exact deal, why is he not just funding his son on his own?
