Also, this would take us further away from ever having an open platform, by making Apple’s platform more attractive.
It seems disingenuous to claim that this would end Apple’s ‘monopoly’. The only thing that will do that is more platforms, and the only kind of platform that will do that is an open one.
If AZ wants to make itself a hub, why not invest $1BN in a foundation to create an open smartphone OS, to be established in Arizona?
