Got to go to Tasmania years ago; was really cool to learn about the Tazzy tiger and the Australian equivalent of the bigfoot legend.

Have been reading "Agency" by William Gibson of Neuromancer fame and the Thylacines are described in the book but I was too lazy to look them up.
