I’m not surprised a company that consistently sells out within seconds is making money.
What is surprising is their claim that mining only accounts for 6% of sales — though that seems difficult to verify (the cards used for mining and gaming are the same)
NVIDIA reps at my place of work have no trouble getting us A100s. Maybe this is too cynical but I think they learned their lesson after the Pascal generation was released - everybody bought the GTX series because performance/$ was way above what Tesla offered, even if Teslas were within budgets. This time around they can actually price segment for enterprise customers!

That's before the driver limit has been hacked out, which there is enough demand that someone will probably do it.
