Somewhat related, a long time ago there was a daemon you could run on Linux that would draw ascii art for anyone pinging you from a Cisco router. Cisco's ping would by default draw exclamation points and dots based on response or lack thereof. The daemon would selectively respond to draw an ASCII picture of your choosing. The most popular was the middle finger. I can't remember what that daemon was called though.
