This site is super fun. I knew of bitcoin when it launched and am certain I generated a coin for fun. Didn’t think much of it back then. Occasionally I come across backups and go looking for wallet files with no luck.
I also knew of Amazon and didn’t invest there either so, womp womp.
My sentiment too. I made something like $500 off crypto. Investing tiny bits over the years and cashing out after a few weeks, “this must be the peak!”
Sure I could be a millionaire if I HODL’d but so could anyone for a number of random investments. I’m glad I got anything.
Not directly related but is there any sort of market for people to buy/sell devices that they've lost the password to but contain $x,000,000 worth of btc? I guess it would be impossible to verify it actually contained btc but maybe an interesting novelty to own nonetheless
A dollar then would have given me just over half a mil in 2021! And here I thought real estate investing has been the best decision strategy of my life haha.
