Edit: The version of GTA they have includes the PARADIGM intro video. It is a scene release. Not legit. Very warez.

It probably isn't, but neither is the DOS game collection on archive.org. Speaking of, I'm not sure what the advantage of this over the archive.org DOSbox system is.

I think these services exist because most game studios won't care about websites like these until they get too popular.

There was an exemption made in the DMCA for archive.org's software library back in 2006, so their use is legal.

That’s an exemption from the ban on “circumvent[ing] a technological measure”, not an exemption from copyright law as a whole. AFAIK the Internet Archive still has to ensure that its use of copyrighted software is covered by “fair use”.

Took a while to load but gta worked on my phone. Will not play it there but thanks to the other links in the comments my kids will be subjected to the original Oregon trail.
