Climate change was behind the decline of previous civilizations, are we capable?
Climate Change, Nature's Wrath can be seen as a direct or indirect factor for the decline of civilizations, and it seems like we too are moving to a climate change phase, considering the irregular and unprecedented climate conditions.. How capable are we to face this.
I'm not an expert, a honest question to know about facts and your opinion.

[ 3.2 ms ] story [ 21.7 ms ] threadCan you give an example and citation for that claim?
Do you have any source to back this statement?
Personally, I think people are asking for sources of extremely easy to access information more and more. People take more time to reply than to do a basic google search.
I know of the whole concept of the person making the claim has to back it up, but this isn't debate club, and the information is at your fingertips. I don't know why people ask for sources when a Wikipedia entry a few keystrokes and a couple of clicks away.

We're so interconnected and so advacned I think we'll be fine in the big picture and the long run. Sure, millions may die during famine, but billions will live on.
