Chicago Public Library removes the six Dr. Seuss books (chicagotribune.com)

What libraries used to do, is withdraw the books from circulation. The books still exist in the collections usually. Which is a good thing. Many deeply offensive children's books exist, they deserve serious study within appropriate fields.
