Company with a Fake Employee for Salespeople

Many years ago I was with a company that had a fake employee name we used for things like telemarketers.

Oh, you need to speak to Bob, would you like me to transfer you to his voicemail?

Voicemails went to /dev/null

Anytime somebody called for that person you knew it was a waste of time salesperson.

Food services? That's Bob. Trucking, speak to Bob.

It was much easier then explaining we didn't have that department, didn't buy their service etc.
