As a founder and CTO I had to learn about so much of that stuff on the fly. And most companies marketing is FUD. Happy to see someone take the "let's make this easy and approachable route".
As a software engineer, really happy that my current company started out with WorkOs!
Congrats to the WorkOS team - their extremely pleasant wrapper over SSO and SCIM has made my side project possible rather than a nightmare of integrations
Congrats! We use WorkOS and they have saved us tons of time in both engineering and support cases. We frequently have customers compliment us on how easy it is to configure SAML and SCIM, but it's really WorkOS's wizard that they are complimenting :)
I’m a bit confused. They talk about adding all kinds of enterprise features but I’m mainly just seeing SSO in all their examples and copy.
Is there other stuff?
Btw - loved Nylas but actually the sync component. Didn’t bother too much with the consumer client. Wanted to use the sync component for an app where people would email PDFs.
Most apps need SSO first and it’s become a more widespread need in orgs of all sizes (not just large enterprise). We decided to feature SSO more prominently in our marketing for this reason. But the API docs gives weight to other features.
