Ask HN: How to mute conference apps like Zoom or Microsoft Teams?

Does anyone know a tool or a way to mute specific apps like Zoom or Microsoft Teams?

I am on a lot of meetings, and sometimes I just have to show up on the attendee list without having to say anything, nor is anything interesting being said.

I would pay for a solution which is live transcribing text of these meetings so I can parse them for interesting words I need to follow up, or unmute the app to engage.
