Program Director here — we're over the moon about the raise and excited about backing 100+ startups over the next three years. Happy to answer any questions folks have about the program.
Sounds nice! What level of funding you typically provide and what kind of business do you seek out?
We invest $120k + $60k per founder and work with SaaS specifically (with most investments in B2B SaaS). A narrow focus means we’re able to tailor our mentor roster and program and provide more actionable and relevant advice. More info: https://tinyseed.com/faq
Will TinySeed fund companies that compete directly with each other in different batches?
Probably, but we’d need to talk with the founders first. Hard to say without knowing the business/field, but we definitely anticipate competitors across batches as we’re growing quickly.
Can I invest in Tinyseed a tiny amount <100k? Which ends up going to fund startups?

I have one Bitcoin and I’d rather invest it in startups creating value for the world.

We joined TinySeed last year as part of batch 2 and it was easily the best decision we've made regarding the business.

The money, advice, community and mentorship we got those last 10 months were definitely worth it.

Can you give a rough outline of how mature you were when you joined, and what the terms were?
We're a Batch 1 company and I can attest to the quality of the program. The cash is nice, but the real value is in the community and extensive mentorship network! Stoked to see TinySeed becoming a compelling investment vehicle.
Is it me, or is the article not linking to the tinyseed home page?
A bit funny that if they back a startup the startup isn't bootstrapped anymore.
Great job. I have been following TinySeed for a while and I am really glad to read up on their investment thesis and terms. Hopefully, once my project gets sustainable revenue, I’ll definitely apply and love to be a part of the group.
Indie.vc shutting down is news to me. Did their model not work out?
