Probably someone who wants a cheap slave. After all why not make a few million copies and set them to work filing taxes or driving autonomous vehicles? Or as robocops. You could be in all sorts of delightful situations when you wake up. Then if you start to refuse orders they can delete you and spool up a new copy.
I’d expect to be partial restoration and be a museum piece or some sort of side show example of early attempts at memory backup
