How is it that X liberal topic is generally discussed as though it's just obviously correct, but anything remotely critical in the opposite direction has to go (in this case, anti-censorship should be non-partisan but in practice generally cleaves to the opposing side depending on who's in office).
It's not like this isn't important to discuss in tech, given the long history of orgs like EFF, GNU, etc. And simply that these are matters of information.
