Solid article.

I'm very much looking into building a non smartphone pocket size internet device with a raspberry pi zero as a base. So I could do something like listen to internet radio, while I walk around my city without worrying about 8000 notifications firing off.

Just a few years ago I used social media and I found myself very angry. I foolishly would argue on Reddit about, for example where I wanted to live. I came to a stunning conclusion, if I decide to move because I like the culture of a different city more, absolutely no one cares. I had to estranged my family over this, but it's 100% worth it since every aspect of my life from my finances, to romance(I only meet people in real life, much less stressful ) has been greatly improved.

A big part of this deletion of my social media, has been humility. I'm not important enough for other people to argue about, I'm not important enough to give someone else the right to tell me I shouldn't do x or I shouldn't do z.

Lost connections, might be the best book on this topic.
