Earlier this week I left a comment about how I'd stopped using my customized WM setup to stick to a simple KDE install. Since then openbox has been on my mind. I'd used it for a few months a couple of years ago and really enjoyed how light, fast and uncomplicated it was.
I reinstalled it on my laptop and my configs still work, everything is super light and fast, and I can't be happier. I still love KDE and the merits of fully configured systems aren't lost on anyone, but I think I might honestly like it more to install a full KDE/MATE desktop and then just log into openbox rather than the DE.
