The Ministry of Truth from 1984 has been perfected in China!
We. Need. To. Boycott. China. Everyone of us. Or the Ministry of Truth will take over.
If the plot of "Saving Private Ryan" is to be viewed as realistic, then Little Spicy Pen Ball's conclusion is non sequitur. (I know it's fiction, but still.)
How can it be that when a man slaps a womans ass it requires years and years of discussions and countless exclusions, but when a government commits genocide, people happily accepts it?

I can only interpret it as a form of bike shedding.

Ask yourself this question: Would you have boycotted the 1936 Olympics knowing what you know now about the German regime? The evidence is all there for everyone to see.

From the looks of things, until China carries out a direct military attack against US territory, America will continue to sleep.

Even that is now debatable considering the way the Chinese have infiltrated and subverted the US political system. I doubt even the annexation of Taiwan will cause the US to blink.

This is a very interesting question though your question can be framed with a less provocative example ;)

The same reason we criticize other democracies for the most minor of offenses but give Saudi Arabia a pass. We needle those who are needled but avoid those who DGAF or have levers of power over us. The Chinese just DGAF and they have amassed an immense amount of power.

Can you let me know what genocide has Saudi Arabia committed ?
Rather disappointed in the US in the continued subservience to China. The Uyghur genocide should have been enough to completely halt all trade with China. A few minor diplomatic criticisms simply do not cut it. Right now, it looks like China can commit any act of evil or suppression and get away with it with no consequences.
This is interesting, this indicates China may be thinking about taking military action in years to come.
