Ask HN: Is there a curated newsletter version of Hacker News?

19 points by surfsvammel ↗ HN
I am trying to decrease my screen time and Hacker News is one of the largest time sinks in my life. I don't, however, want to get rid of it altogether. I found something called HackerNewsLetter, but latest issue seems to be a couple of years old. Is there anyone who curates Hacker News into a news letter that I can read once a week and still get the top stories?

If you want a satirical plain-text over http view of things try http://n-gate.com/ - and yes you need to type that into your URL bar!l not click the link!
The best! It actually helped me take a more moderate view on the HN crowd. I'll admit I used to put people's opinions here on a pedestal.
https://www.hndigest.com/ is the best here.

Not quite hacker news centric but I do source my own newsletter from hacker news https://betterdev.link

Note stay way from https://www.daemonology.net/hn-daily/ When I clicked "Daily email subscription" it shows me a very creepy full screen ads https://pix.fastloop.xyz/upload/7242cd2fe763c406fc5b743e3de4...

"...stay way from..."

It's called uBlock Origin. In this day and age is a must, regardless of your browser.

https://hackernewsletter.com/ is a weekly newsletter and pretty much gives all categories and covers the most interesting submissions.
This is the one I’m subscribed to as well. Recommended!
