Prismatic is an embedded integration platform for B2B software companies. It gives teams a better way to build integrations and provide a first-class integration experience to their customers.
At my previous software company, integrations were a never-ending pain point. We were spending a huge percentage of our dev capacity on integrations rather than moving our core product forward. (Writing bespoke integration code, standing up special infra, dealing with auth flows, wrangling customer-specific config and versioning, struggling to troubleshoot issues in production). Those same challenges exist all across the B2B software world.
We discovered that most integration platforms on the market were designed for enterprises automating their own workflows and don’t work for B2B software companies that need to provide integrations to customers: They lack the concept of customers (and their configs, credentials, etc.). They lean too hard on a “no-developer” mindset. And they don’t fit into software companies' existing infra and processes well.
So we built an integration platform designed specifically for B2B software companies. Prismatic gives software companies a better way to build integrations and also a better way manage their deployment to customers. It includes:
- Purpose-built infrastructure that runs your integrations in a secure, scalable environment
- An intuitive integration designer for building reusable integration workflows
- Integration deployment and support tools like customer-specific configuration, logging, and alerting
- An embeddable, white-labeled customer portal with self-service integration tools
And it does this in a way that gives every person involved exactly what they need:
- Devs get the power and flexibility to extend the platform to fit your product and the way you build software (strong custom component support, fully exposed API, robust CLI)
- Non-devs use a low-code designer, tailored by your devs to fit your product and industry, to build reusable integrations that can be deployed to multiple customers with different configs
- Customers and customer-facing teams get a simple integration configuration and management environment
We’ve placed a huge emphasis on developer experience and designed everything in the platform to be flexible and extensible at every turn.
We’re super passionate about better software integrations and helping software teams solve their integration challenges. We’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback.
