I’m only surprised that Amazon is waiting so long to try to pull its employees back into the office. Its likely just because they have to based on state mandates. Looks like compensation is still gonna be the only good thing about working at Amazon.
Jassy also needs to fill Kraken seats [1] at Climate Pledge Arena [2], right next door to Amazon's Seattle campus. Definitely some intertwined interests there.
