Hello,

I'm seeking old desktop wallpapers from early linux or other OS (or window managers : gnome etc) just for pure nostalgia enjoyment. Do you know places where we can find such resources?

I'm also fond of 90' era computer user interfaces and any resource related to this would be greatly appreciated.

Google Image Search and search archive.org for xwinman.org archives.

I just Googled and immediately found a bunch.

Be aware that many desktop backgrounds for these older OSes are from 640x480 to 1024x768, so they will look horrible on modern displays.

What's a good one?

I've tried a number of them but haven't found one that would work well for wallpapers such as these.
