The Unbound Bible was a project held by Biola University providing free access to many Bible translations of reference along with search tools. There was also a great tool to provide parallel view of different translations. This is a great great loss. I wish they'd consider a donation programme to fund their effort. Scriptures need to be widely available so that it's no one's own property but everyone's share.
Are there more details about why the project closed?
On that page, they just mention "growing maintenance costs and technical support needs"... I've wondered if there could be any intellectual property problem underneath but there's no indication about such a thing. It's sad anyway, that was such a great tool (bis repetita).
