Howdy everyone,

Me and some friends have been working on this website since November to provide lots of comprehensible input for folks wanting to learn or improve their Spanish. I've been learning Spanish for a couple years and was frustrated that finding material to read and listen to can be quite hard, unless you want to watch a bunch of kids shows. So we made leerly to fill that gap, and it's working great!

We find articles from around the web, summarize the facts of the article, and then we have our native Spanish speaking cofounders translate them to B1/B2 Spanish. Then we provide a bunch of tools to make the experience as smooth as possible, like translating in-app, studying vocab, slow audio, etc.

Let me know what y'all think because we want to expand to other languages once we have the user experience figured out.

leerly is great. I'm really liking the way of listening to and reading news articles at the same time. The articles are also amazingly written in well comprehensible spanish. Although it's a bit random but it's very interesting content multiple times a week.
