I made a dating app in my spare time that's popular, how do I sell it

If I could make at least $1M from it I'd consider selling it. It currently makes $2k profit per month (99.9% profit margins)

Is my asking price too much? It has 60K downloads per month.

I'd hold on for a while, at 2k/mo you're looking at 24k profit a year times 5 if you are lucky for sale price right... so 120k(ish) current value. Grow grow grow!!! :D. Awesome work btw

So you'd need to get to 500k downloads and $20k / month to get $1m in a sale?

You’re no where near $1M for valuation, but when you’re ready to sell, microaquire is a great place to list.

I hope this is helpful, though maybe a little disappointing. You could get $50,000-$100,000 if you found the right buyer. Just maybe a good rule of thumb my help is somewhere between 2x-5x profit would be the sale price or ($48,000 to $120,000). Usually the 5x is from someone else in this space that wants the users/info.

You could wait until you get a 300,000 downloads a month and get a lot more, but it's harder to scale than one thinks.

I say keep growing it. The same intelligence that brought you this far, will get you further. Stay with it!
