[name and email redacted] CEO contacted me from HN under a who wants a job posting. In the first Zoom meeting, offered me $130k + $10k signing bonus + 1.5% equity on-the-spot at 4/5/2021 2:50 PM CDT while he was at WeWork 600 Congress Ave., Austin, TX. No paperwork to sign, verbal agreement only. Then he proceeded to pump me for information in-person about AWS and architecture at the WeWork location, took a "investor meeting" at 8 PM, and ghosted me at 8:29 PM the same day.

It's embarrassing but it's necessary to dox them to prevent it happening to anyone else. I don't know what I'll do for rent and food this month. I have a FAANG interview sometime from now but I don't know if I can hang-on until then. What should I do?

I'm at a loss as to what to do, ideas please folks.

Edit: I wonder if he'll just make-up firing for XYZ cause. Even so, wouldn't a "signing bonus" still apply legally? I do need to pay rent and get food.

He asked about moving off 2 workers of Heroku and which services to use on AWS. I was cagey because it didn't add-up. He promised to setup a meeting later this week (now would've been today or tomorrow) with another person I didn't yet see and don't know if they were real (they could be). He says he owns 70%, this could be true or fake.

Edit: the brigading flagging is fine. That's what happens when you're the little guy.

He may or may not have flown back to Las Vegas. I offerd him a ride to AUS, which he declined.

I also asked him about grabbing food at the beginning of the at WeWork IRL meeting, but he said he could only eat kosher and wasn't eating all day.
