I still have a laserdisc player hooked up, ready to watch and original Star Wars trilogy, plus a few other rare discs. I would sell it all for less than you paid but I just never think about it. Probably time to post that stuff and find a new home for it because I never use it.
Ya. I know it can be hard to justify all the work involved in watching on LaserDisc, when it's just so easy to dial it up on Plex. The first thing I did when I got it was digitize it, and copy it to Plex.
But something about watching it on the real hardware, listening to the disc spinning, watching it switch sides A->B every 30 minutes, that transports me back to a simpler time.
