Relieved that at least it has not gone the Google Reader way.
FeedBurner hadn’t seen updates for last several years and there was an apprehension it may end up like another “Killed by Google” product.
FeedBurner has had so few updates that the page that I was directed to in the email I got about exporting my subscriber list still has an FAQ about adding FeedBurner links to your MySpace page.
It seems like email is the main feature with few people still using non-podcast RSS readers. This seems like a way to make enough people stop using it to justify shutting it down entirely.
It's been running for 14+ years tho, this isn't exactly like other services Google has shutdown, and one wonders how it survived all this time, long after Google stopped caring about RSS.
