Ask HN: Coding While Drunk

I know I know it’s probably bad for me not just my health but overall quality of work but as a web developer it’s not exactly hard and often find myself half cut at work yet still hit deadlines and never had any complaints or push backs on PRs.

Tell me what’s your experience on this?

Oh I’m freelance so I’m not often in an office.

After a half-pint my coding goes to crap, so I never code drunk. But stoned is a different matter, the focus, the attention to detail, I think I code better stoned.

A moderate amount of alcohol lowers your inhibitions, increases language skills, and helps you get your groove on.
