In January, I acquired an app called Breaks For Eyes. The developer was planning on shutting it down and I saw the potential to keep it running and make it better.

It might seem trivial to some, but this app has really improved my life. As my mom is an optician, I've known about the 20-20-20 rule for a long time, but have never been able to hold myself accountable and keep up the habit.

I've renamed it Intermission, with many improvements, and a new look. All the changes I've made have been based on an incredible amount of customer feedback, as well as my own experience using the app, and I hope you enjoy. Would love to know what alternatives you're using, if any, and what you think of Intermission!

Hey I use that app on my work and personal macs! Just curious, how much did you buy it for?
Awesome! Let me know if you have any feedback :)

The latest issue of my newsletter is all about the acquisition, which you might find interesting https://www.getrevue.co/profile/AppleTurnover/issues/acquiri...

super! loved the sketches. hope the pricing change works out well. surprised that you make 400$/month in sales. your bet seems like it will pay off in less than a year. how did the pricing increase pan out?
it’s only been a few days, and since there’s a 7 day free trial, it’s hard to tell.

Downloads/rankings are up, no noticeable change in sales yet.
