I wanted to share this here in case others find this useful to help them patch Intel CSME vulnerabilities when their system manufacturer or motherboard vendor refuses to. :)

The Intel CSME Version Detection Tool[1] said that the Windows desktop I'd built myself was vulnerable to a number of flaws from 2020[2], based on the CSME version number.

I checked on another computer (from Razor) and according to the CSME version number, it had all but the last vulnerability in November 2020 patched. For that one, I'll ask Razor for an update.

I needed this link because my motherboard manufacturer has not released an update since April 2020 when the last Intel patch was released in November 2020. It's not even clear if they released patches for their newer motherboards. (This one was from 2019.)

I decided the company wasn't going to patch it for me, and this forum post helped me build a patch for my motherboard myself. It's a bit complicated but possible to do it if you take it carefully step by step.
