As someone who lives in this area, I'm terrified of people using "autopilot" here and I try to stay away from Tesla's lest anyone try it. It's a very bad place to play with that, given the curvy roads, narrow lanes, and tons of trees.
Anyone who has used Autopilot would know that you cannot currently turn it on if there are no lane markers. And there were no lane markers on the street where this happened (and they started driving on that street).
