Ask HN: A small SaaS for yacht charters

I would like to do a project to get new experience, and since I'm not an expert in web/SaaS/etc development (my area is dev/integration for embedded software ;), any comments are welcome.

So the concept: a basic panel for... gathering a crew for yacht skippers (aka. expedition marketplace, but much simpler than e.g. booking.com). It would only generate a link (basing on data entered by the organizer): "Get-on-board!" that can be copy-pasted anywhere.

The project targets a yacht skippers niche, which are too busy to handle the dates/contracts well (I experienced it myself :).

Applicants, after clicking on it, would:

see the contract, be redirected to the advance-payment (Stripe?) after the successfull payment - copy of contract is sent to an applicant e-mail is sent to the organizer ("You have a new crew here!") A link would under the hood work like an e-shop, e.g. allow making a resignation (return payment, minus some %, optionally), and for the skippers it would handle all the crew logistics-important-bullshit, saving a lot of time (in my opinion ;).

Am I missing something, from the technical point of view???
