Show HN: 1 day project I use everyday - Tabsr

4 points by discover ↗ HN
tabsr.com is the site.

IT GETS BETTER AFTER THE MAIN PAGE! 5% margins, Verdana, the works :)

Started life as a quick 1 day project and now I've been using it myself for about a month and thought you guys might enjoy it too. Basically, it allows users to have temporary bookmarks and is compatible with every possible device (no JS required to read links - I've linked up my iPhone, iPod, HTC, 2 laptops and main comp to it and it works great). The whole thing is built for speed and ease of use. Of course, it's free to use :)

Any and all criticism is welcomed.

What do you guys think?

i like the favicon, though the site (all be it a 1day project) could do with at least some styling, _cough_ no center align
Haha, I can code like a machine, but design I just don't have a clue about. 3 weeks ago it would have all been Comic Sans. Yeah, that bad.

Any further tips on the design?

P.S. Clicking on the sign up button is all you need to do to use it. No password or anything required at all. The design once you're "in" is a little better :)

if you'd stick it on github, i dont mind giving it a good design forking
Thanks for the offer :) but I'll have to pass as the code just isn't well formatted for design. Example: no proper containers, in fact, if you check the source most pages don't even have html tags...I guess that's what I get for coding at 3am.
np, thought i'd offer all the same. if you ever change your mind give me a shout @christopherdb

By the way, I got a page that already has links on it... is it not supposed to give me a unique numbered page?

There are some default links thrown in to let you test the delete button (x) and up arrows (^) and generally fool around. Feel free to delete them.

Enter anything resembling an email (doesn't have to be real, there's no verification) to lock the page from anyone accessing it.
