As we always knew, Bitcoin's massive, wasteful energy consumption was actually good for Bitcoin, and the environment, all along.

I'm an expert on the energy market, but couldn't the generation of significant value from off-peak periods into the mining of bitcoin disincentivize renewable energy projects from pursuing solutions to transmission and storage of energy, since their problem would be "solved", so to speak?
