Ask HN: What is a good documentation tool for consumer facing UI documentation?

I am using vuese which is great for documenting vue.js components for internal developers...but we also want to document the UI in a similar fashion for our users.

I'd prefer to use markdown as the source and I need some open source tool (preferably node-based) that can generate a nice looking documentation site.
