the funny thing is that many jobs that aren't particularly real-life-interaction-demanding were never considered as potentially remote and still have people getting infected in their offices.
at least for those that were open to the possibility - eg many tech jobs - the taboo has been broken and ultimately i think companies that offer permanent flexibility will have an edge.
