Gmail Asking to Unsubscribe to Political Email Lists

Is GMail asking you to unsubscribe to political email lists? This started for me today. GMail has never asked if I wanted to unsubscribe to ANY list EVER.

They've been asking if you want to unsure from unread subscriptions for a while now, and not just political. Anecdotally, I've been getting those notifications for over a year.
