It seems this is another lesson for people in the cryptocurrency space that you should always control your own keys. If you're being "ideal" about it, you would use Thodex as a in and out point for your own funds. But instead, we get stories like this, that wouldn't exist if people followed some basic steps.
yes blame the victim as always. not the beloved ponzicoin
It's pretty much the scorpion and the frog at this point.
It's what they do lmao.

Creepto is full of scams, can't wait for the Tether saga to end.

"Hey, there is this new technology that allows you to have money, but without any 3rd parties involved!"

"Wow, that's really cool, I'm gonna buy some and store it with a 3rd party"

3rd party takes all the users money and disappears

"What, how could this happen and how could I ever have prevented it?"

If I were on the run with $2B in stolen crypto, Albania would not be my choice of hideout.
I’d assume $2B buys a lot of protection in Albania, likely government level.

That said, it’s quite small. Not somewhere I’d like to live to exclusion of all others. But it has a beautiful coastline, mountains and lakes. There are definitely worse places to be trapped.

It's also a culture not too alien for a Turk. Should kind of feel home.
I imagine he'll move on from there. Somewhere with limited extradition treaties.
