Google Hates Edge Chromium. Will it now block access to extension store?

After every PC restart there is a fight for the default browser status between Edge Chromium and Chrome. New Chrome apps could not be installed in Edge for a few days. Today I discovered that edge chromium now blocks access to pre-existing installed apps such as remote desktop. They were working until today. They have closed even that loophole.

Switch to Firefox.
Or Brave if you must use Chromium.

(Although I have to admit I'm still using Chrome for some reason... hard habit to break I guess.)

the only features i miss is seamless translation (the extension is unreliable and less convenient) and no reverse image search (because of ddg selected as the main search engine)

other than that, brave + keepass replace chrome just fine for me, I don't really see a reason not to make the switch

Do you know a way to download the old Firefox extensions - I don's see them neither.
What haven’t been ported in the I don’t know how many years, will never be. Check out whether it has what you want.
